① The number of abutment≥ the number of missing teeth &except the canine with anterior teeth missing.

②The number of distal-extension teeth missing is within 2 unit; The number of abutment≥3 unit when the distal-extension  missing teeth is posterior .

③The number of successive missing anterior teeth ≤4unit  and missing posterior teeth ≤2unit
